Grand Master Lee began studying the ancient Korean art of Tae Kwon Do at the age of 10 in Han Pyung Up, South Korea.
He has practiced the art for over 45 years and has over 40 years of teaching experience. Grand Master Lee is one of the foremost
teachers of this Korean Art and has taught the Seoul Police Department as well as major corporations such as the Miller Brewing
Company. In 1983 Grand Master Lee was featured in the Tae Kwon Do Times for his expertise in the field of Tae Kwon Do instruction.
In 1988 Grand Master Lee was featured on the front cover of Tae Kwon Do Times, this time for his expertise in acupressure
and bio-energetic breathing. In 1991 he was awarded the highest rank of 9th degree.
Currently Grand Master Lee owns his school at 16 N. Lisbon Rd. in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and operates two other school in New Berlin
and Waukesha, Wisconsin. Grand Master Lee has been teaching in the Milwaukee area for over 20 years.
Current instructors at the academy include Mr. Tai Hyon Yun, who has 14 years of teaching experience; Mr. Chan Lee, Grand Master
Kim's son, who has over 8 years teaching experience, and other black belt instructors who have at least 5 years teaching experience.
Grand Master Lee has been a pioneer of Tae Kwon Do, chaning the style to meet the needs of the American student while teaching the
