Children's Home Rules
Parents play a crucial role in helping children get the most out of TaeKwonDo. It's natural for kids to show an interest in something, and then lose interest quickly and move on before they ever see the benefits of what they are doingg. How many children sign up for piano lessons or soccer teams and then quit because they don't like the practice?
We ask [parents to be aware of this and remind d children that TaeKwonDo practice is a commitment. If children sign up for the black belt program, the expectation is that they will persevere until that goal is reached. The more enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment you show, the more your children are likely to continue.
Here are some tips:
- Join with them. many families move through the belts together. The commitment and sense of accomplishment are strengthened by doing it together.
- Set up a regular schedule of classes so your children get into a routine and schedule other events around the TaeKwonDo classes.
